Move over the bride’s grand entrance with the same old tracks playing on repeat, these days weddings focus the spotlight on the groom and his suave entry into the scene of action.
Although usually, it is the bride whose entrance is the talk of the town, yes, even days after the wedding. But if you want the groom to have his fair share of cheery applause and shutterbug- accosting, plan a nice, peppy entrance for him. Try to get the music and decor play along with it- turn the lights down, get the music right, and have the guests’ attention on the groom simply by having the lights follow him.

If the wedding is themed quirky and peppy, look for songs that will give the guests (and of course, more importantly) the groom a good laugh. A little jig at the groom’s entrance is absolutely necessary, and it sets the tone for what’s to come! In fact, even if the wedding isn’t themed to be totally boisterous, this could be the little carnivalesque release needed- take our word for it, these songs will have the groom’s friends and cousins loosen up and shake a leg even before the party officially begins.
