Garnet & Plum Indian Wedding Color Inspiration
Here in the middle of winter with the frequent snow storms and gloomy days, it can be a bit difficult to think of great wedding inspiration. Now that the holiday and festivities are long behind us and we embrace a new year, finding inspiration is not an easy task. Bright sunny yellow, orange and blossom pink don't feel right quite yet and summer is still so far away. Jewel tones feel right at the moment, especially deep plush velvety plum and rich lustrous garnet. They evoke a feeling of luxury and sensuality that is hard to resist. Whilst it is a festive palette, the colors are more subdued and refined, certainly they are not bright. They are almost like the joy and love that two souls feel and can communicate with each other without saying a word. Picture a winter wedding somewhere in a colder climate with a bride wearing a sumptuous velvet lengha and cape, the room filled with plum, burnished gold and garnet décor and flowers and her groom wearing a dark velvet and gold sherwani.
