It has become a trend of a sort for Sabyasachi to drop his newest bridal collections on Instagram rather than on the runways. No wonder his Instagram handle looks a million dollar, with brides drooling over his striking creations crafted with love and dexterity. The latest Indian bridal collection is based on broad themes called 'Devi’, ‘Gulkand’ and ‘Minimalist-Maximalist’.

Like his previous collections, this autumn/winter 2017 couture collection also speaks royalty and is just in tandem with designer's homogeneous aesthetic. Though it is nostalgic of his previous collections. This couture line very well addresses the needs of the vintage bride and her bridal party.

The vintage jewelry pieces put together in this collection have been carefully reproduced by craftsmen of the Sabyasachi Art Foundation. Sabyasachi himself scoured through the alleys of Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Patiala, and Hyderabad to come out with this jewelry line finely divided into Heritage Jewellery (reflective of Colonial India), Vintage India (temple jewelry), Fine Jewellery, Jadau, and Men's Jewellery.

What we love the most about this collection is the deeper hues of wine, burgundy, pomegranate, marsala, pink and vibrant cherry reds chosen by Sabyasachi for the bridal line. So, if you are getting married this year and have always dreamt of being a Sabya bride, it is about time to invest in one of these beauties!
