Sonia C, is sharing her list of essentials for every South Asian bride to pack on her big day.
In all of the chaos surrounding your wedding, sometimes it helps to create checklists in order to remind you of the simple things you might need to get done. I've created an essentials list for every bride to keep her stress-free on her big day! Print it out and check things off as you've packed them into a large container or suitcase. Tape the list onto the container so you know what's inside!
- Wallet and Driver's License in a large, recognizable purse
- Cash tips and a credit card
- Purse/clutch for the event
- Safety pins, hair pins, hair ties, extra makeup, hair brushes and makeup brushes, q-tips
- Hair spray and gel, hair tools
- Outfit
- Bridal jewelry
- Shoes for the event and comfy wedges for the photo-shoot/dancing
- Hair accessories, if any
- Deodorant
- Perfume
- Face wash and makeup cleanser, brush cleaner, moisturizer
- Roll of paper towels
- Breath mints or listerine strips, toothbrush and toothpaste
- Advil/Tylenol
- Insoles for shoes in different shapes and sizes
- Scissors and a sewing kit
- Band aids and sanitizer
- Gifts for bridesmaids
For the photographer:
- List of important people on both sides
- 1 wedding invitation
- Perfume bottle
- Keepsakes you want in photos
- The rings
