. Plus, throughout this post stylist Nisha Kundnani gives us her tips on how to pull off a pink beach friendly ensemble.
"Firstly, it’s important to pick the right shade that will complement your complexion and personality. If hot pink and fuchsias repel you, then opt for soft blush or a happy coral. If you’re fair and pale then do not go for blush, pick a happier brighter shade as you don’t want to look drawn out. But every shade of pink works differently and can be tricky, so will need the extra confidence to pull it off"
"Secondly keep the silhouettes modern and chic. Doing a desi overdose always creates the sense of déjà vu. Pair palazzos with a cropped top like choli, dhoti pants with a trail like anarkali jacket, drapped sari with a bustier or short jacket. Explains Kundnani, The other reason is that overly traditional lehengas are not fun for beach weddings, they are so heavy that it’s impossible to enjoy the wind and sand. The lighter, breezier your outfit the more fun there is to be had. Pink as a colour looks international and elegant too, so a modern silhouette in the shade will be a win-win scenario."
How stunning were all of these looks? Now if I only I could rewind and do a beach themed wedding....
