Indian Wedding Color Inspiration- Lemon Zest

Everybody needs a little sunshine, especially now that the days are so short.  Yellow is known as the color of energy, brightness and it tends to revitalize.  This palette was inspired by Lemon Zest, a Pantone Spring 2013 Forecast color.  Indian weddings traditionally use marigolds as it is said they are a symbol of peace and prosperity; they come in many shades from bright Lemon Zest to a deep orange.  You can incorporate bright marigolds with ranunculus or with paler blooms such as peonies and roses in your wedding decor. Many brides chose to wear this bright and cheery color for their garba or reception; it is also a popular color for the bridesmaids' sarees.   Did I forget to mention that yellow diamonds also make a spectacular statement on any bride?
