Styled Indian Bridal Shoot by Powell Pictures

We're used to featuring beautiful real weddings, but today we're stepping away from the usual to feature a styled bridal shoot from Komal at Powell Pictures. The bride had plenty of pictures in her formal Indian bridal wear and seized the opportunity to take part in an artistic photo shoot post-wedding.

I asked Komal from Powell Pictures to describe her inspiration behind this shoot, as I'm sure many of you will be interested in a similar bridal session!

"I wanted Priya to be relaxed enough to show off her gorgeous body. I believe wedding lenghas are extraordinarily beautiful and sentimental but they are often heavy, stiff and uncomfortable. I approached this shoot with Priya as a chance for her to just be herself in one of her favorite outfits. There were plenty of images in her wedding outfit and there just wasn't a need for any more."

Komal took advantage of the beautiful Rajasthani décor already in Priya's Dallas loft to complement the style of this session. She wanted the shoot to look "authentic, sexy and artistic" and we definitely think she succeeded!!
