1. Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City: We understand that Carrie likes to brandish her loony sense of style, but the one foot tall blue feather on her wedding veil? If Mr. Big hadn’t already bailed before Carrie got to the alter, he (and all their guests) would have stampeded towards the exit after watching her walk in with a dead bird on her head.
2. Vanisha Mittal- Reception: Business tycoon Lakshmi Mittal had the money and celebrity draw to rope in hot shots Tarun Tahiliani, Sunit Varma and Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla to design his daughter’s wedding attire. Why, oh why, oh why then was she looking like she was celebrating her Sweet 16 with ruffles and a tiara?
3. Amrita Arora- Sangeet: Don’t be so upset Amrita. These things happen. We know the tailor made your blouse too tight, and that you probably lost the original lengha to your outfit. But, it’s Bollywood, and too tight and mismatched is totally hot and stylish.
4. Natasha Madhvani- Wedding: Gag galore! Natasha gets a big fat zero for elegance. This is your wedding dress, so please stop with the uncovered blouse, chest sticking out, Bollywood apsara nonsense. Apparently, Natasha’s mother, Mumtaz, designed this hideous lengha. Who designed the necklace with the two ruby snake heads? Totally goes with the apsara outfit. Fardheen- love the way you match your wife so well.
5. Avantika Malik- Engagement: Velvet is IN! Avantika felt obligated to scream it over the hilltops on behalf of her fashion designer friends. Poor girl, she looks like an Indian woman stuffed in European princess attire from the 1800′s. On the upside, Imran looks super hot!
