Pantone, the international authority on colors, announced that Honeysuckle Pink will be ubiquitous in 2011. Each year, Pantone polls designers from around the globe to predict the most popular hues. This year, designers picked versions of hot pink, and Pantone narrowed it down to Honeysuckle - Pantone 18-2120 TCX. Designers see honeysuckle as a “pick-me-up at a time when many people have had their fill of misfortune,” states the Wall Street Journal.

Not so surprisingly, India polled the ‘most colorful location in the world,’ amongst designers listed in Pantone’s Color Report.  In fact, Hollywood makeup artist, Collier Strong, and Fashion Director at Sax Fifth Avenue, Colleen Sherin, predict that India will be one of the most influential countries in fashion and design in 2011. Southern California, Paris, the Mediterranean, and Japan were also listed.

2011 brides, keep Honeysuckle in mind when planning your big day! This sherbetty pink might be just the right color for your celebration.
