We're kicking off 2 days of incredible Indian fashion on IndianWeddingSite.com with our coverage of Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2010. Unlike the recently covered Bridal Asia, the focus of LFW is definitely not bridal. However, there were a few designers with pieces that stood out to us and were worth sharing with brides-to-be.
Our first designer is Krishna Mehta who presented on Day 1 of LFW. Krishna's collection carried on the trend of pairing jackets with lehngas and saris. She chose muted colors for her collection with hints of silver, gold, red and purple. Her designs were timeless and contemporary and could definitely be passed on through generations without losing their appeal.
