"Our vivacious couple is from London. Neema is from Insurance and Vinit is in Finance. They met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend and they both sort of knew that this was for life from the very beginning. The proposal was in Italy – in Sorrento, a part of the world that Neema had always wanted to visit. The proposal was perfect (apart from the fact that the balcony was dark and Vinit dropped the ring before sliding it on Neemas finger – so there was an awkward five minutes of frantic search and rescue). Having known each other for five years they finally decided to spend the rest of their lives together."
"F5 Weddings were delegated to streamline the wedding process at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa. The first day saw guests flying in from UK, Kenya and India. They were received in Goan style with shell garlands and welcome drinks. The festivities commenced with the Mehendi celebrations. The theme was floral hues with traditional touch."
"A pink carpet was laid out for the guest and the pathway was decorated with pots and pretty floral decor on it. The bride applied Mehendi along with all her guests. The foreign guests were entertained with the mehendi ceremony and got henna tattoos instead of the traditional ones. The bride had her own beautiful couch with a floral backdrop. There was a coconut counter for the guests to relish while they sat by the poolside."
And here’s what Neema and Vinit had to say, “We wanted a wedding which was fun, enjoyable, different and something which captures the essence of India (Goa) but also an event which is quite Western reflecting our London roots too. F5 went out of their way to make our vision true – they listened and delivered exactly what we wanted. And even when we were lost for ideas or didn’t know what needed to be done – their input and suggestions in general were perfect and rescued us!”
