The Best of India Couture Week 2016

It's a big indian fashion month and we are so excited to bring you the highlights. Yesterday we kicked off with Sabyasachi's gorgeous new collection and today we're bringing you the highlights from the FDCI India Couture Week 2016 with the best of Rohit Bal, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, Manish Malhotra and Tarun Tahiliani.

First up is Rimple and Harpreet Narula's bridal collection Hiraeth. Featuring beautiful beaded bodices and heavily printed lengha's any bride would feel like a queen in one of these designs.

According to Malhotra, "I have always been drawn to Iranian culture and music so I decided to add a touch of the lost world to this season’s collection." Filled with muslin cloths and asymmetrical blouses it's surely one of Malhotra's finest!manish 1

Rohit Bal's collection, Kehkashan, is fit for royalty. With long jeweled jackets, pleated lenghas and absolutely gorgeous accessories Bal's collection may have taken the cake this wedding show!

Concluding our line up is Tarun Tahiliani's "The Last Dance Of The Courtesans". This collection is the very definition of couture. With opulent sari's, lace fabrics and stunning borders Tahiliani did the old world proud.
