BMW India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) 2014 - Tarun Tahiliani's Show
Designer
Tarun Tahiliani opened up the sixth edition of the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) 2014 by showcasing his opulent Mughal-themed wedding collection in shades of gold, orange, red, blue, black, and white. There was a variety of saris, anarkali and kalidar kurtas, long jackets, and lehngas, crafted from sheer silks, reshams and tulle fabrics, complete with jamawar motifs, floral patterns, mukaish dupattas, zari work and ornate brocades.
For the groomswear we saw sherwanis styled with lavish drapes and cummerbunds, bandhgalas, dhotis, kurtas, and jodhpurs.
The traditional maangtika was modified into a Mohawk for the models’ foreheads, using zara hatke jewelry.
