It's a fashion frenzy on the blog today thanks to one of the most influential South Asian designers,
Manish Malhotra, and his 'Men for Mijwan' show featuring some of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Although Indian fashion was front and center, the show was aimed to raise funds and awareness for the Mijwan Welfare Society, an NGO founded by late poet Kaifi Azmi. This organization serves to shed light on the hardships young children and women face in rural India and find ways to empower them.
Bollywood celebrities who attended or walked the runway included Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Sidharth Malhotra as well as
Kajol, Susmita Sen, Sonali Bendre,
Dia Mirza, Shabana Azmi, Parineeti Chopra, Kalki Koechlin, Aditi Rao Hydari, Yami Gautam and Diana Penty.
