Just in time for the upcoming holidays!! I absolutely gasped when I saw what Sabyasachi Mukherjee (aka my FAVORITE South Asian designer) recently crafted in the Opium Collection. Bollywood superstar, Karisma Kapoor, was gleaming on the October 2013 cover of Hello! India magazine. I am a huge fan of every single piece- from the jacket to the gorgeous lengha. I love the contrasting emerald jewelry (which also compliments her beautiful green eyes). The designer states the recent trends of monotone colors and naturalism is the way to go this season for brides. For someone who loves a lot of color, this was a refreshing look. I would jazz it up with a nice bright lip color and some fun colorful jewels. It truly is a glamorous, royal look and, honestly, who doesn't love a little bit of gold glimmer?!
