Delhi Couture Week 2013 - Anju Modi

We are covering Delhi Couture Week 2013 for the next three days so be prepared to see loads of inspiring fashion as we pick our favorite bridal looks.

Kicking off Delhi Couture Week is no small feat as everyone anticipates a fantastic opening show and Anju Modi delivered just that. The collection "Draupadi" kicked off with a sensational parade of couture wear to feast the eyes on. The look was all about traditional wear such as lenghas and saris but with plenty of volume, layers and draping. Beautiful gold embroidery and jewelry adorned each outfit with a strong yet feminine look.

A strong palette of red, beige and orange gave way to pastels and finally ivory and gold. The showstopper was Tabu, who walked down the runway looking amazing in a voluminous red and gold lengha. Brides who love strong yet romantic looks could definitely take many ideas from this collection.
