India International Jewellery Week 2013 - Part 1

Besides an amazing outfit, the next best thing about an Indian bride's look is her jewelry. India International Jewellery Week 2013 opened up with plenty of sparkle in the form of jewels and celebs with Sonam Kapoor opening the show. Anamika Khanna was the designer of Kapoor's gorgeous getup which was complimented by fabulous jewelry, of course. Brides, there is plenty of inspiration and eye candy in this show which means it's time to get pinning!

Charu Jewels' offerings were elegant and intricate with pearls and emeralds in yellow and white gold.

Gitanjali Gems Showcase included traditional designs among bright and light jewelry that's beautiful for brides looking for a modern touch. Check out the lenghas, too - swoon!

Hazoorilal Jewels did not disappoint with traditional Polki design. We were in awe of Chitrangada's bridal look with a contemporary twist.

International Gemological Institute Showcase displayed the most intricate and beautiful jewels in rubies, diamonds and emeralds that would have any bride smiling from ear to ear.

Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas' jewels were not only jaw-dropping gorgeous but also unique in free form designs and layers. Take a look at Lara Dutta's layered look for inspiration.
