Monisha Jaising's The Sailing Bride hits Amazon Couture Week

Amazon Couture Week continues and this time with ‘The Sailing Bride’ collection by Monisha Jaising. As the name suggests, this collection was filled with nautical elements and skin galore. The first thing that popped out at me was the dark lipstick on all of the models paired with the pale color undertones in the outfits- super dramatic!

Monisha Jaising included lenghas, gowns and saris to round out the collection. The embroidery, prints and bling bring each outfit alive. Love how the models are walking down a "dock" instead of a runway to drive the nautical theme home!

These last three looks might be my favorite. I could see each and every one of these playing a role in any wedding festivity. I particularly love the cut out maroon blouse that reminds me of a swim suit/choli hybrid!
