Lakme Fashion Week Winter 2014 - Anju Modi Collection

Day 1 of Lakmé Fasion Week also showcased the collection of designer Anju Modi. Her bridal wear collection entitled 'Mahikarnika' was inspired by Ajanta and Ellora cave paintings and the Khajuraho sculptures. Much attention was given to the details of the clothing, especially the lehengas with carriages embroidered on it. The showstopper for the collection was actress Jacqueline Fernandez. She wore a red lehenga with a gold embroidered full-sleeved blouse which had mesh panels, and a white dupatta highlighting a red velvet and gold border.
