Today we are featuring a beautiful display of old meets new with a stunning combination of Hyderabad based fashion designer Bhargavi Kunam's fashion collection infused with classic Raja Ravi Varma paintings shot by the ultra talented Shiv Kumar. Using the paintings as a blueprint for the fashion shoot, Kumar took the quintessential trademark of Varma's ornament laden and colonial stereotype women and modernized them with Kunam's new collection to look like the women of today. This was truly a beautiful meeting of three minds!
