Vikram Phadnis' collection was one of regal splendor during Aamby Valley India Bridal Week. Sherwanis, lenghas and saris exuded an air of royalty in rich fabrics such as velvet, silk chiffon and jacquard with opulent embroidery and embellishments. The colors of spices such as tumeric, paprika, saffron, and cinnamon were very prominent in this collection with pink and purple added in some instances. The splendor in textures and colors seemed right out of a page of a Silk Road story. The showstopper was actress Soha Ali Khan in a lengha choli in rich jewel tones of sapphire and ruby with heavy and elaborate embellishments. A great collection for brides who want to look and feel like royalty on their wedding day.
