Chanel Beauty "Bombay Express" Inspired by India

We love fashion! Even more, we love when a big fashion house is inspired by the beauty of India. Recently Hermes created an ad campaign inspired by the vivid pink and orange so prominent in Indian culture.

I literally let out a little gasp, which frightened my cat, when I came across Chanel's new makeup collection "Bombay Express De Chanel". All of the colours revolve around pink and gold and are beautifully suited for a bride. The main star of this collection is a gold highlighter compact "Routes Des Indes" embossed with a beautiful pattern. This would look gorgeous on any bride. The nail varnish "Diwali" is a beautiful antiqued gold that would complement any saree or lehnga. To give you that sexy smouldering kohl rimmed eye, the creme/gel shadow "Mirifique" is absolutely fantastic. With such a dramatic eye, we prefer to keep it balanced with a light lip. Rouge Coco Shine in "Empreinte" is a gorgeous pink-beige with gold shimmer that would balance a smoky eye.
