Today on blog we have the fairytale Indian wedding of Rohit and Anita that involved a lot of scrutiny and meticulous planning as the couple wanted to make the wedding memorable for their guests and especially the out-of-towners. "Our wedding was a three day celebration in Orange County, CA. Rohit and I each had our own mehndi party on the first night and kicked off the festivities with close family and friends. The second night was our Sangeet, which began with a Jazz band that incorporated Bollywood classics, and a fusion menu including paneer masala ravioli and chicken tikka sliders. Later, our friends and family put on an amazing performance filled with music and dance, which chronicled the evolution of Rohit and my 10 year friendship/relationship. We went for a modern Moroccan theme for our Sangeet with a white and gold color scheme, lanterns, and a floral chandelier that our amazing Sangeet designer and her team constructed."
"The wedding day began with a morning Baraat, after which our bridal party danced down the aisle to 'Tu Meri'. Our traditional Hindu ceremony took place in at outdoor gazebo on the hotel grounds, and we celebrated in the evening with a cocktail hour that led into our reception."
"Our wedding design carried on the gold scheme and added bold, vibrant shades of magentas and purples. We used one side of our program to communicate the significance of many Hindu traditions and customs. On the other side, we created an infographic with fun facts and stats about our relationship and wedding planning process."
The wedding space sure looks intimate, and all the ceremonies were carried out in a beautiful manner. Both Rohit and Anita looked resplendent in their complementing beige and blue outfits. So chic!
"Our reception to have a romantic garden and whimsical feeling, similar to that of a Midsummer Night's Dream. We were absolutely blown away by our team of vendors’ ability to bring our magical dreams to life", shares the couple.
