I love a good love story (admit it, we all do!) and you're in a treat with this one we're featuring today. Bride, Pakou, and her husband, Shri, met in high school and remained friends. They took a chance at love and began dating even though Shri would move away for college. After a decade-long courtship, the couple was finally married in Madison,
Wisconsin. A special and warm thanks to the fabulous
BellowBlue Photography for capturing this wedding!

Pakou's outfits were from
Charisma India- both of the outfits are magnificently embroidered and intricate! Pakou's make up and hair was done by the talented Kendra Gasser of
The Makeup Palette.

Our blushing bride walking down the aisle!! I just love her!

Oh and those smiles!! This is one of my favorite images- check out the
photo gallery to see the others!

The couple's ceremony took place under a red and maroon mandap that was hand sewn by the bride, with gold ropes and colorful roses. (Check out the images of this DIY mandap on our
photo gallery page)!

This lengha is to die for!!!

The wedding took place in the ever-so glamorous
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center that overlooks Lake Monona (and they got a cloudless day, too)!

LOVE the shoes!!

How awesome is this cake? I love the intricate mehendi design on the cake- great job,
Craig's Cake Shop!
