I was dying to see the wedding of Ritu and Vikram after we posted their adorable,
carnival based love story film last September. Of course, I was not surprised to see how immaculately tasteful and classy the Hindu + Sikh Punjabi wedding was. Held in
Washington, DC, the wedding ceremonies took place at the
Mayflower Renaissance Hotel.
Vikram, looking dashing in his burgundy and gold sherwani, rode a beautifully adorned elephant at the Baraat. I'm a huge fan of the non-traditional "vehicle" Baraat ideas and elephants are so royal and grand. I also liked that the groomsmen wore plain black outfits- it's so chic and classy. The team at
