Today's bride, Monique, shines against the backdrop of her gold and purple mandap. She chose the accent color of her lehnga to serve as the primary color of her décor to ensure that she stood out in her purple lehenga. Smart bride!
We absolutely love featuring weddings held at
Casa Real, like this
multicultural wedding we featured earlier. A beautiful location for a Bay Area Indian ceremony and outdoor portraits + they love Indian weddings!
Indian bridal wear is so ornate that a flower bouquet is often lost among the embroidery and bangles. But we are loving the bouquet that today's California bride is carrying! The white color pops against her purple and gold lehenga and fits perfectly with her bridal look. Have your florist create something similar for your wedding using almost any white flower, and wrap it with an Indian fabric complementing your attire!
I just love when a photographer gets
all the right shots - from the intricacies of the Hindu wedding customs, to the details like the grapes in the vineyard. Our
Photo of the Month contest winner,
Vijay Rakhra from Wedding Documentary, did just that when capturing these priceless memories.
We'll be right back with Monique and Surag's reception!
