I'm so excited about today's feature engagement session from
Smita Photography! Smita's a fave of mine for 3 reasons:
1) She's a
pediatrician turned photographer - with an immense passion for both professions.
2) We featured her own
beautiful, multicultural wedding on our site.
3) She's one of our Spotlight Vendors!
I fell in love with this New York City engagement session she shot as soon as I saw it. The beautiful couple, Alka and Ed, met many years ago and were reunited at a happy hour in DC. From
Smita, "Several emails, dates and a long distance love later, these two souls decided to complete their love story with the happiness of a Jim Carrey movie and an ending fit for Bollywood!" I love how Smita transformed these two into movie stars.
