"Sagar and I had a lot of people in common and the first time I heard about him was in 2013. Common family friends tried to introduce us and ever since that time every 6 months we both would hear about each other from completely different sets of people, but the meeting did not materialise because of bad timing, not being in same cities and other insignificant reasons. We finally met each other in September of 2015 when Sagar was visiting India to see his new born niece for couple of days. We met once and soon after he left for Japan for a vacation. He was there for about two weeks and the one thing that really caught my attention about him was how he made every possible effort to keep in touch with me constantly while he was there (I now get to hear how I was virtually a part of his trip because he was constantly using his phone). While he was there our families met with common friends and left the decision upto us,” adds Neha.
Boho BrunchThis photo brings across so much warmth and glee, it’s unbelievable. Each of the couples complement each other and it becomes clear why love is the most beautiful thing.
The couple looks uber cool as they show off their moves onstage. Lost in the dance, their respective costumes are perfect for a dance night- traditional yet grand.
"I did not get a traditional proposal though. Non-Traditional because it happened a month before the wedding! We were in Thailand for a wedding from Sagar’s family and there was this beach party on one of the days. Along the beach there was Jet skiing and other water sports happening, so we went on a jet ski and Sagar stopped the ski in the middle of the sea and got down on one knee (Or whatever was manageable on the ski bike) and asked me to marry him- while we were in the midst of planning our wedding. Must say the element of surprise was still there,” explains Neha.
The bride’s lehenga seems to be cotton candy- inspired and is exquisitely stunning. Kudos to having achieved perfection at a difficult combination! Everything falls into place in the photo- as if coordinated by the heavens itself.
Neha made a typical Indian entry under a traditional phoolon ki chaddar, while the groom looked dashing making his way into the venue on a Victorian carriage. We especially loved the mandap made of white pillars, decked with orange drapes that perfectly complemented the flowers.
Champagne Reception looks every bit of a royal affair - the couple being dressed impeccably even for this event. Neha's gorgeous gown complete with the stunning diamonds and that lovely smile melts our heart.
