Hawaiian Indian Wedding by Jihan Abdalla Photography - 2

I'm definitely a girly-girl, so I'm in love with the bride's choice of pink everything! Décor, outfit, mandap, jewelry! Kavita- you look like a doll! Let's start with the traditional, colorful jewelry- it's stunning and classy and doesn't take away from the absolutely BEAUTIFUL baby pink lengha. Kavita's bridal make-up and hair by Sabrina Sawhney is also wonderfully done for a daytime affair. Don't forget to check out the gorgeous bridal party- all in fresh, minty green sarees. What an awesome color combo for an outdoor, summer wedding!

This pink theme was so thoughtfully planned that our impressive bride actually matched the hotel color! The elegant, yet historical, Royal Hawaiian Hotel was the venue for the ceremony and the reception. I love the pink mandap (oh, and the white and pink rose petal aisle) adorned with abundant pink flowers and crystals. Speaking of abundant pink flowers- roses and peonies (my fav!) in large vases- I am in pink heaven. The feminine parasols are always one of my favorite outdoor décor touches and the fan-like programs are creative and fun. All of these decorative elements could not have been done without the talented Yvonne Design.

The wedding ceremony took place on the Ocean Lawn, facing the Waikiki Beach shoreline. Immediately after the ceremony ended, a short drizzle was followed by an auspicious double rainbow ... seriously, how did they manage to do that?! Great job on capturing this, Jihan Abdalla Photography!

I'll be right back with the finale!
