South Indian Wedding Photographed by Studio A Images

Today we're featuring a South Asian wedding photographed by Studio A Images. The couple, Mamta and Karthik, were married in a traditional South Indian ceremony where the bride wore a custom made nine yard sari for her ceremony. The ceremony itself was a traditional five hour ceremony which took place at the Sri Guruvayurappan Temple in New Jersey.

I love the bride's wedding day ceremony. It's rare to see an authentic traditional sari these days and it's so beautiful coupled with the jasmine garlands. Studio A Images did an amazing job capturing all of the sacred moments of the day.

Studio A Images shares:
Mamta + Karthik had a traditional 3 day South Indian wedding that was full of ceremonies and rituals, families and friends traveling from all over the world and lots of celebrating throughout the weekend. Photos begin with the sangeet where Karthik rode on a white horse. Friends dancing in the street of his parent’s neighborhood and a dance off before the official engagement ceremony. The main event – the wedding - was held at a temple in central New Jersey and included the customary 5-hour ceremony. It was a beautiful, colorful, tradition-filled celebration.
