We're featuring Chandni and Nigam's wedding today captured by Photographick Studios
. The couple were married in a place that they spent countless hours throughout their relationship at, The Hilton Washington Dulles Airport
! Being that the couple were dating long distance they would savor the precious hours they had together by taking the red eye back and forth from Chicago to Washington D.C. Photographick Studios shares:
"Throughout the wedding Nigam joked how he could recognize where the plane was going based on the trajectory – as Chandni rolled her eyes she still batted those pretty lashes at Nigam that made him smile and fall ever more in love."
"Their Hindu ceremony started out in the early morning and friends and family gathered to dance throughout the Baratt and watch the two of them profess their love for each other. He promised to always put her needs before his and not buy too many toys without her permission. She promised to always stand by his side and feed him when he was hungry. After a beautiful Indian Wedding they partied the night away with a gorgeous reception filled with amazing music, fantastic friends and a party that didn’t end"
The bride shares:
"I joined shaadi.com on a whim. At first it was so overwhelming but I really wanted to give it a chance. About a week after I joined, I received a message from Nigam on LinkedIn. He introduced himself and wrote “Sorry for just reaching out to you on here, but I wanted to at least take this time to say HI! I'm actually one of the lucky guys whose interest you accepted on Shaadi so I wanted to introduce myself..” His message was straightforward and seemed really genuine so I responded and gave him my email address. A few days later, we started talking thru email and chat, then on the phone. Our conversations were so easy and fun, I looked forward to talking to him every day and would even stay up late to talk to him when he was driving back from his long work days (that’s a big deal people, I never give up sleep). We decided to meet a few months later in D.C. and I was freaking out. He knew I would be, so the first thing he said to me when we met for the first time, instead of “Hi” or “Hello” was “don’t be nervous!” It made me laugh and broke any ice that might have been there. From our first conversation to now, Nigam has made me laugh and smile more than I have ever. I look forward to making him as happy as he makes me and can’t wait to officially call him my husband!"
