Outdoor Colorado Indian Tent Reception - 3
Aug 15, 2013
by
Gunjan A.
Sasha and Kabir's wedding reception was filled with dancing, a wide variety of food, outfit changes, and the illuminated
Colorado sky. After being twirled on the dance floor by her groom, Sasha retired her
Tarun Tahiliani Indian wedding lengha and changed into a Western white gown to finish off the celebration!
Susan D. Cole, Sasha and Kabir's wedding planner, shares a play by play of how the rest of the evening unfolded!
"A veritable feast of Mediterranean, Indian, Japanese, Italian and French food was served. Under tents and upon a large dance floor some of the relatives of the couple performed Indian dances. These were later followed by a special performance by the U.S. National Latin American Rhythm Champions, Joseph Santos and Suzanne Gassett, and dances by the groom’s parents, Bina and Rajiv Mehta. Bina is a champion ballroom dancer in her own right. General dancing followed. Lavish desserts ensured that no one would leave hungry. The evening ended at 11:15 when a party bus arrived to transport the younger revelers, and those with stamina, on a seven hour voyage to nowhere."
Thank you so much to
