Indianapolis! Today's featured wedding is brought to us by the incredible photographer,
Crimson Blu.Our couple, Manisha and Anuj, held the summer wedding events at the acclaimed
JW Marriott Indianapolis. The traditional Hindu wedding had roughly 400 guests and the color palette for the wedding and reception consisted of red, gold, fuchsia and purple - all the right colors for a beautiful Indian wedding!
Our ravishing bride, Manisha, wanted to create an atypical mandap. With the help of
Passionate Peacock Event Planning and
Mayil Mandaps, they used gold curly willows with bright purple and fuchsia carnations around the pillars. About 100 orchids hung artfully along the back of the mandap. The white silky, luxurious backdrop was imported from India and glistened against the purple uplighting. The bride and groom chairs were also imported from India and added a majestic touch to the décor. I love the action shots from the wedding ceremony -- the couple looks so radiant!
