Indian Wedding Fashion by Naeem Khan, Shehlaa & Anushree Reddy LFW S/S 13
We couldn't contain our excitement when we found out that
Naeem Khan was presenting a show in this year's
Lakmé Fashion Week S/S 13. The second day was filled with so much eye candy that it was difficult to pick favorites; it was a tough job but somebody had to do it.
The prettiest and most feminine collection of the day goes to Anushree Reddy. This collection just screams spring and romance! Bright pink, florals, white, silver and gold are indeed perfect for a spring wedding and we can't wait to see a bride wearing these gorgeous creations.
Naeem Khan, a Hollywood and Bollywood favorite, presented a luxurious show. Sumptuous velvet, intricate embroidery and sparkling beads were all integrated into the outfits in one way or another. Black, white and silver dominated the show but beautiful gold and teal, gold and silver and red looked one more gorgeous than the last. Brides who want luxury, richness and elegance can certainly incorporate elements from this collection into their wedding dress.
Shehlaa by
Shehla Khan stayed true to Khan's romantic and ethereal designs created with thin gossamer silk, lace and pale translucent colors. Her collection aptly named "Boudoir" featured many lingerie elements. Now, we are not saying this is wedding attire, but adding romantic silk and lace can really be a gorgeous touch to your wedding lengha or saree. Of couse, we are also inspired by the gorgeous Karisma Kapoor wearing this style.
