Like most couples, by the time the reception came around,
Ritu and Garrett were ready to celebrate (as evident from those fun props below)! I have to say, I really enjoy the feel of an outdoor reception. Dancing under the canopy with the lights strung from the ceiling and the glimmer from the stars makes it feel so cozy and romantic!
"During the planning process, my parents focused on all the details of a Gujarati ceremony while I focused on the small details of the reception. Some of my favorite things from our day are things such as the candy bar (a fun momento) and photo booth (the guests loved it). Some of the smaller details that I loved were our table numbers (they featured photos of each of us at particular ages - so, at table 1 were pics of the both of us at age 1, table 2 - pics of us at age 2, etc.) and the thumbprint guest book tree we had (guests inked their thumbprint on a tree painting that we eventually framed)."
