Pilipino Indian Fusion Wedding by Realce Photography - 1

Hi friends! You're in for a treat with today's featured wedding! There won't be any lenghas and tikkas, but there will be some Indian flair in this beautiful fusion wedding. Nestled among the redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains, there is a private retreat called Nestldown, which makes for a perfect venue for Sharlene and Nihar's Pilipino-Indian wedding. The couple performed their nuptials at the Redwood Chapel, resembling an outdoor cathedral.

Sharlene's white lace dress is absolutely stunning and classy on her frame. I love the sweet touches of the infinity garlands (the colors are so beautiful and vibrant) and the exchanging of Cinnabon bites, in lieu of the traditional Indian sweets for the Anna Prashaan. Nihar loves Cinnabon and Sharlene's first job out of high school was at a Cinnabon so it was a great way to incorporate their personal lives in their ceremony.

When asked what one of her favorite wedding details was, Sharlene responded, "We loved the cultural aspects of our ceremony, but we especially loved our readings. The readings we used came from excepts of children's books, I Like You, by Sandol Stoddard Warburg, and Love Is a Special Way of Feeling, by Joan Walsh Anglund." The smiles during the intimate, outdoor wedding are exceptional...wait until you see the portraits that the fabulous Realce Photography captured!
