Traditional South Indian Wedding by Matei Horvath Photography

We have a beautiful South Indian wedding for you today from Matei Horvath Photography. Aparna and Kunal met and fell in love in NYC but were married in an intimate ceremony at her parents' home in Bedford, MA. What I love most about this ceremony (aside from the bride's stunning braid!) is that Aparna's father built the yellow mandap himself where her bridal pooja was held. An absolutely adorable way for a father to give his daughter a gift on her wedding day that she will never forget.

The ceremony itself was held under a circular gold mandap created by Alankar. Don't miss the rice throwing photo - I just love the expressions on everyone's faces!

I'll be right back with the second half!
