Illinois Indian Wedding Reception by Laurie Peacock Photography

Laura and Raj kept the idea of unifying cultures alive well past the ceremony and into the wedding reception. Laura also chose the perfect shade of purple for her lehnga that complemented the bridesmaids’ saris.
From the bride:
“I wore a lengha, and Raj changed into a sherwani. We served both Indian and American food, and guests danced to both Western and Bollywood music. It was beautiful to watch our families and friends learn more about each other’s cultures, and the two very different backgrounds melded together in a beautiful, unforgettable night.”How much do you LOVE that last photo?
