California Multicultural Indian Wedding: Jeena and Brian (1)

We've taken a bit of a break from featuring real weddings while focusing on bringing you great planning tips for your Indian wedding. But when this submission came in from Photography by Leah, we had to share it right away!

Jeena and Brian, along with their coordinators at Amazáe Special Events, created a stylish wedding that fused their Indian and Korean backgrounds. If any of you are planning a similar type of wedding, get ready to take notes!

The Hindu ceremony was held outdoors in the courtyard at Casa Real overlooking the Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, California. The couple chose to have the ceremony around sunset to capture the beauty of their surroundings.

Brian and Jeena decided to forgo the traditional Indian wedding baraat because they wanted to capture the romantic setting of the winery. Instead, their siblings led the processional and Jeena was escorted down the aisle by her father.

For those of you who can not, or choose not to, have an elaborate fire set up in your mandap, Jeena and Brian came up with an alternative idea that can be used anywhere, indoors or outdoors.

Sit tight and we'll be right back with some great behind-the-scenes shots!
