Well, here we are on Friday afternoon with the finale of Vikram and Pooja's New Zealand Indian wedding. Check out Parts
1,
2 and
3 in case you missed anything.
Vikram and Pooja's reception was held Saturday night at the Formosa Golf Resort in Auckland. The beautiful bride wore a strapless, chiffon Vera Wang gown in a blush color that complemented her perfectly. The dress was beautifully accessorized with diamonds. Pooja's bridesmaids wore soft pink dresses.
The couple's first dance began with the timeless
At Last by Etta James and transitioned into the fast-paced
We No Speak Americano by Australian duo Yolanda be Cool and producer DCUP. We love the idea of incorporating two different dance styles in a choreographed routine. Show off your personality and entertain your guests at the same time!
The reception decor was tasteful and elegant in white with romantic pinks and purples. Decorations were flown in from Mumbai especially for the event. The centerpieces included purple flower balls hanging as if suspended in air.
Performers for the night included the popular bhangra stars
RDB and Nindy Kaur, as well as Daler Mehndi. The groom's father surprised guests by joining in with the group
Signature as they reenacted the act that brought them runner-up titles in the show 'Britan's Got Talent'.
Congratulations to Pooja and Vikram on your beautiful wedding! And a huge thank you to Stu Robertson and David Hayward of
The Orange Group, as well as Douglas of Village Media, for the exclusive scoop and photos of this multi-million dollar wedding!
