CA Multicultural Indian Wedding – Rosemary and Ravi (4)

I've really loved Rosemary and Ravi's warm, summer
California wedding - though some of that is due to the onset of winter weather on the East Coast right now!
For those of you
venue searching for a summer wedding, a great tip is to find a location with a usable indoor and outdoor space. And I don't just mean so you can have the wedding ceremony outside and the reception inside. Rosemary and Ravi chose
Flying Cloud in
Sonoma County as their venue and guests were able to use both spaces throughout the day to truly enjoy the location.
From the photographer, "After the outdoor ceremony, guests moved inside for cocktail hour while the caterer set up the reception on the same garden area as the ceremony. Guests then moved back outside for dinner, toasts and a dancing performance. When dinner was over they headed back inside for dancing, but it was such a nice evening that we left the doors open so everyone could enjoy the beautiful weather and come and go from the dance floor and bar area."Two elements I'm loving from the gorgeous outdoor reception decor:
- Aside from the flower centerpieces, the couple had frames with a picture of them in different locations and a description of that place, such as a picture from their trip to Goa.
- Bright flower petals strewn on the grass to match the wedding colors. Swoooon!
From the bride: "All of our guests showered us with love and support and everyone seemed to have a great time. We spent many months planning the details of this day, but in the end it was our friends and family that made it so memorable."Congratulations to the newlyweds and a big thank you to
Colin Michael for sharing this beautiful wedding!
