Melissa Diep Photography did such a beautiful job capturing
Rajul and Mehul! I love the amount of artistry that is displayed in each and every one of her photos. Rajul and Mehul's second portrait session could easily be mistaken for a spread in a magazine. Mehul looked beyond handsome in his white tuxedo and monogrammed cufflinks. Rajul looked gorgeous in her blue and gold lengha. The pleating and pattern on the lengha is exquisite and that shot of
Rajul and Mehul on the ground with her lengha fanned out is unbelievable!!
If you weren't swooning already after seeing those portraits, wait until you hear from Rajul how Mehul proposed!
"The way Mehul proposed was such a wonderful, unexpected surprise! It was a gorgeous, unusually bright day in New York City, and I thought I was on a weekend trip with my girls. Little did I know he had set the whole weekend up with a rented apartment, dinner reservations, and the whole nine yards. As my girlfriends and I walked to meet a friend outside Central Park a picture caught my attention. The odd part was the picture looked just like the one I had on my phone of Mehul and me. I thought I was dreaming, how could this be, where did he get that? I had to find out! As I approached the sketch artist to ask, “How did you draw a picture that looks just like me and my boyfriend?” I felt someone touch me on my elbow from behind. I looked back only to find it was Mehul! Surprised and confused I asked, “What are you doing here?” Bug eyed and bewildered I quickly realized his closest friends were with him and he was reaching in his pocket as he was going down on one knee! I'll never forget the look in his eyes as he asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. I still get goose bumps when I think about it! After, Mehul and I shared a horse and carriage ride through Central Park and an amazing weekend with our closest family and friends. What more could a girl ask for!"
