I just had to share a little background on our sweet couple of the day, Aditi and Alex: they met in law school (income tax class-oh boy!) and it only took Alex two days to ask Aditi out on a date. The handsome groom successfully learned Aditi's ring size without her knowing, got the ring and set up a trip to his grandparents' home in Stone Harbor, NJ to propose (whilst studying for the bar!). Their home was filled with many childhood memories so he was honored to have been able to create such an important memory with Aditi there.

From the bride: "He proposed one day after we got back from the beach--he had gone up to the second story balcony and called me upstairs, and when I got there, he stood there looking out onto the ocean with me, telling me how the last year and a half had been the most wonderful of his life, and then knelt and showed me the ring! I of course started bawling and said yes (I told myself I wouldn't be one of those girls who cried, but hey)!"

Aditi's wedding day jewelry was gifted to her from her grandmother who had received it from her mother when Aditi's mother was born. What a significant, heartfelt connection to her linage!  Also, Aditi and her bridal party (all wearing sarees in a fabulous shade of cerulean blue) look like they belong in a bridal magazine! The images are incredible- I'm loving the work by Choco Studio Photography!

Join me for the final of Aditi and Alex's wedding later this afternoon!
