Indian Wedding Fashion from WIFW 2013 by Anupama, Vineet Bahl & Nikasha

Day one of Wills India Fashion Week A/W 2013 was full of surprises and not to mention plenty of inspiration for Indian bridal looks. These are my favorite looks from day one that are wedding event friendly.

Anupama Dayal presented a gorgeous show of color and print infused fabrics. The aqua blue and green lenghas would look amazing for a sangeet or a beach side reception. These pieces can be mixed and matched so don't feel like you have to do the look right off the runway. The coral and gold lengha is fabulous and would be perfect with a sparkling gold choli and dupatta.

Vineet Bahl's collection consisted of neutral beige, cream and gold with touches of black at times. I absolutely love this look for a monochromatic wedding. The kurta and kameez combo is a stunning look on bridesmaids for a winter wedding whilst the bride wears the gorgeous red velvet and cream lengha with touches of gold.

Nikasha's collection was downright inspirational. The amount of details that each outfit had gave me so many ideas on how to incorporate these little touches for a bride. Brides who prefer a modern and minimalist look for their reception will love these lehngas! I love the dual tone on the silk ribbon edging, embellishments and elegance of this entire collection.
