Bhairavi Jaikishan's collection for Lakmé Fashion Week S/S 2013, aptly named "Paradise Island" left me longing for a beautiful destination wedding in a sunny and warm oceanfront locale. According to Jaikishan,

"My collection is called Paradise Island and it is a cocktail collection suited for destination weddings. Nowadays people are understanding that instead of blowing up so much money on an elaborate Indian wedding, it's better to keep it more personalized."

The entire collection based on this premise consisted of light weight layered fabric and beach colors with ornate embroidery; even the heaviest of the pieces was ultra light. I absolutely adore the concept, the colors and the luxe but laid back vibe. Brides who are having a beach front or outdoor wedding, we can't wait to see your photos with these dresses!
