Delhi Couture Week 2013 Grand Finale - Manish Malhotra

We close out our coverage of Delhi Couture Week 2013 with a show by designer powerhouse Manish Malhotra. Fom voluminous lenghas in rich velvet to the custom made Christian Louboutin shoes, this collection was all about sensual glamour. Inspired by the 1930s' British influence on Indian fashion, this collection was heavy on rich jewel toned colors of ruby red, topaz, and shimmering gold, and a high attention to detail. Conservative long sleeves and floor length anarkalis were balanced out by bare backs which wowed the audience. Two showtoppers, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were absolutely stunning to say the least. Malhotra's latest collection is by far one of our favorite ones this year.
