Celebrity Indian Wedding - Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur
Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur started out their wedding celebrations with a very secretive pre-wedding bash which was followed by an equally private mehndi ceremony. Vidya was nice enough to indulge the photographers waiting for her appearance. The couple kept the wedding ceremony a very low key affair as far as Indian weddings go, without any celebrity invitees.
The wedding took place at the Green Mile bungalow in Bandra,
Mumbai. It was a beautiful celebration with South Indian & Punjabi traditions and style.
Vidya wore a Bengali style, colorful and vibrant saree which was designer by
Sabyasachi Mukherjee. I love the combination of colors and the gold embroidery. Her hair, simply styled into a side ponytail keeps the emphasis on the amazing jewelry. A beaming smile really brings everything together.
The couple looked stunning in their ceremony attire, which was a combination of yellow, red and gold. Vidya's South Indian silk red saree was also designed by
Sabyasachi Mukherjee and her jewelry by
Amrapali. She also kept this look very understated and elegant. The pure gold jewels without any gemstones stand out against the red saree. Siddharth's yellow kurta with white detail complemented Vidya's saree perfectly.
