How we met
Someone, who will remain nameless, was "trolling for chicks" on Friendster when he came across one that he apparently found very strange...
One who's favorite movies were made in Bollywood and who's favorite books were authored by Rushdie.
He sent a charming and witty e-mail to said damsel that said basically "umm...you're not Indian, how do you know about all of that stuff?"
to which said damsel replied...
"hmmm I haven't had a proper curry since the last time I visted home...do you cook??"
The rest, as they say (usually while shaking thier proverbial heads) is history.

Proposal
This story can't be told with out a bit of first date history. Our hero and heroine were walking in downtown Ann Arbor during thier first date, when she turned to him and VERY subtly said "that's a nice comedy club, maybe we could go there sometime."
Our hero thought very intensly for a moment and replied "Yup. I like comedy." and began to walk away.
The woman in question, having a momentary lapse in her ordianrily saintly patience, whacked him on the the shoulder, glared with hands on hips and said "THAT"S NOT WHAT I MEANT"
The mice in our hero's head ran in thier wheels, the lighbulb came on and the fatefull first kiss was sealed.
Fast forward exactly one year.
The couple in question, having had dinner in the restuaunt they couldn't get into that night, and seeing a comey show from front row reserved seats in said club, ended up making a very unexpected shopping stop at the jewlers.
Happily...well...goofily ever after. |
How we celebrated
We had one of our now infamous house parties. Me, limbo-ing in a dress..cake cutting at 5am...need I say more??

The shackels are set to be clanged shut mid June of 2007. We truly hope that our dear friends both locally and those spread to the four corners of the globe will join us for a very low key and un-wedding-ish weekend of partying. More details when we can look up from our matching pair of his and her laptops to figure them out. Till then,Cheers!
